When are the forest trails open?
Trails are open sunrise to sundown, year-round, and maintained by our monastics.
What should I bring?
Comfortable meditation cushion (optional; we provide basics), loose modest clothing (long sleeves/long pants), reusable water bottle, personal toiletries, and flashlight for evening forest walks.
Can I join if I’ve never meditated?
Absolutely—our guides tailor each session for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
What is the difficulty level?
Rated Easy to Easy-Moderate. Paths are well-marked but can be uneven in wet conditions.
Is lodging provided?
All participants share simple, climate-controlled dormitories on temple grounds. Bedding is supplied, but you’re welcome to bring a favorite blanket.
